When is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon has confirmed that Amazon Prime Day 2018 will begin at midday on 16 July and will continue until midnight on 17 July. That makes this the longest Amazon Prime ‘Day’ to date, spanning 36 hours.
It’s set to feature more than one million deals globally, and Amazon has promised 40% more Spotlight deals in the UK than in 2017.
It’s a week later than we had originally predicted, which we assume is to avoid a clash with the World Cup. Amazon Prime Day 2017 was on 11 July, and the years before it were within a day or two of that.
Despite Prime Day being more than a week away, you’ll find lots of early deals available in the build up, the best of which we talk about below.

Amazon Prime Day Launches

In addition to making Prime Day longer this year, Amazon has introduced a new initiative called Prime Day Launches. These are brand new products and special-editions that are available exclusively to Prime members until mid August.
Not all of the Prime Day Launches have been unveiled yet, but we’ve already seen the HTC Desire 12 become available pre-order this way, as well as new Arlo Smart Home Security Light, and the first Alexa-powered game called Voice Originals When In Rome.
See all of the Amazon Prime Day Launches here.

What is Amazon Prime Day?

Prime Day 2018 will be the fourth annual Prime Day Amazon has hosted. The first was in the summer of 2015 when Amazon was celebrating its 20th birthday, but it was such a success that it has now become a yearly deals event.
Amazon Prime Day 2018 is expected to be bigger and better than ever, with deals as huge and as plentiful as they are on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. As mentioned, they are only available to Amazon Prime members, so  you’ll need to sign up to Amazon Prime or its 30-day free trial to take advantage of the offers.
Ahead of Prime Day, Amazon has sent enormous Amazon Smile boxes across the globe, including some right here in London. Amazon says that these boxes will offer exclusive entertainment experiences for Prime members and the general public.

There will aslo be an “entertainment extravaganza” taking place in London, which will include a performance from Take That, a screening of Paddington 2 and a meet-andgreet with author Ant Middleton. Tickets for this event became available on a first come first served basis on 3 July but disappeared quickly! Find out more here.

How to get Amazon Prime

As mentioned, the catch to Prime Day is that you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime customer in order to take advantage of the deals.
Amazon offers a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime, and even free trial Prime members can get Amazon Prime Day deals. You can sign up to the Amazon Prime free trial here.
You can find out more about Amazon Prime and the huge number of features it offers for that £79/$119 per year fee in our complete guide to Amazon Prime.
Be sure to cancel your subscription before your free trial ends to avoid being charged, unless of course you find yourself enjoying it! Find out more about how to cancel your subscription properly here.
If you’ve previously had a free trial of Amazon Prime, you might be surprised to hear that you can do so again if it has been more than a year since your last trial.

  3. Consider turning on Amazon’s 1-click purchase option.
  4. Use the Watch this Deal button on upcoming deals you see on Amazon’s website, to make sure you don’t miss them.
  5. Join the Waitlist for products that say 100% claimed, because people often change their minds and don’t buy. You’ll get a notification to alert you if more become available.
  6. Choose No-Rush delivery to earn rewards.

Best Amazon Prime Day deals of last year

To give you a better idea of what to expect, we’ve kept a list of some of the standout deals from last year below. Amazon says that 2017’s Prime Day broke all of its previous records, helping the company sell more products in a single day than ever before.
There were also plenty of super speedy Lightning deals available, and we expect to see the same again this year. They’re available for an hour or two before selling out, so you’ll have to be quick!
But even the Daily Deals can sell out, so you’ll need to get a move on if you want to make sure you get the best deals. A brilliant Surface Pro 4 deal sold out around lunch time, for example, and a PS4 deal just hours later.
Remember that all of the deals mentioned below will now be over, as this article was written on Prime Day 2017 itself. However, you can find all of the best deals available right now in our Best Tech Deals 2018.

Comio C2 lite Review ,specifications and more

COMIO C2 Lite is budget smartphones. It is powered by MediaTek’s MT737 quad-core processor that’s laced with 1.5 GB RAM. The phone sports a 5-inch display that has 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, and, it boots up to COMIO UI that’s based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

Biggest highlight-

-It got 3900 mAh battery which COMIO says can offer 350 hours of standby time and 27 hours of talk-time.

-Phone is powered by a MediaTek 6737 SoC,

-CPU: 1.3 GHz MediaTek MTK6737 quad-core processor

-GPU: Mali-T720

– Dual SIM-slot and the dedicated MicroSD card slot

More specs-

  • SIM: Dual SIM
  • Connectivity: 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB OTG
  • Colors: Royal Black, Metallic Grey, Sunrise Gold

Other: Intruder Selfie, Anti-virus

The phone is powered by a MediaTek 6737 SoC, which combined with 2GB of RAM provides just enough performance to offer a decent experience for the price.  There is a visible lag in performance while switching through apps or when loading more than two tabs in the browser (Chrome). Needless to say, the gaming performance isn’t stellar and the gaming experience is littered with constant frame drops, slow loading menus, and lags. Overall, if good user experience across heavy apps and gaming is what you need, the Comio C2 is certainly out of the consideration set.

Talking about the Design

The Comio C2Lite also employs an HD IPS LCD display which has a decent colour reproduction and is just bright enough (560 lux) to make it usable in normal lighting conditions. That said, the display is not very legible under direct sunlight. The touch response is also decent for the price and the overall touch experience is just as good as any other phone in this price category.

Battery life
Like the performance of the phone, the battery life is  great, even though the 3900mh battery rating put it right beside most of its competitors. The Comio C2 lite achieves a 2 day worth of usage under normal usage,In addition, the phone do support fast charging, it takes 1 hour around to charge the phone completely, which is the best part of this device
Talking about the Camera
There is the 8MP camera at the rear with flash, which is brilliant. In normal daylight conditions, the camera manages to capture a decent amount of details. The dynamic range is average at best The colour saturation is also good. The shutter response is not the fastest though, but the camera will reward you if you have a steady hand.
Talking about the Front camera it got 5MP selfie camera with flash. There is one additional feature in Camera App which is  beauty mode which brighten up the face  even on the lowest setting for beauty mode.
In Low Light –
Moving to low or dark light situations, the image quality started to diminish and images started getting noisy. The images start to lose colour fidelity as well, as the camera algorithm tries to brighten the image in low-light conditions. This trick does work sometimes and in some conditions

COMIO C2 Lite Price and Availability

The game adopts the familiar team-based format where players can choose to do battle in 1v1, 3v3 or 5v5 matches. AOV take place on a three-lane map where teams must use the terrain to break through their opponent’s defenses and win the match. Being familiar with each of the character’s strengths and weaknesses is important in performing your role within the team and achieving victory.

Matches in Arena of Valor last for only 15 minutes. There are 4 Type of Casual match in the game

The gameplay is pretty simple

– There will be no frantic tapping here like on PC. The D-pad on the left controls directions of your character, and your skills and abilities show up on virtual buttons on the right side of the screen. The buttons also show that particular skill’s level and cooldown, if you just triggered them. For skills that need to be aimed, you just drag the ability button in the direction you want to fire your skill shot. Pretty simple, and you learn to do that pretty quickly as well

-Team up with players all around the world Carve your way through jungles, lanes, and towers, draw first blood and destroy the enemy Core. Carry your team to victory in less than 10 minutes and become a legendary in the arena.

– You can also Join Your Friends in Fierce Team Battles –
Team up with your friends in Tourney Mode and soon you’ll be able to create your own league. Arena of Valor is the new eSport for your mobile devices.

-The armory opt. is also available in this game for owning different kinds of equipments for attacling, magic , defence,  movement , jungling  and regenerating the talent of a superhero.

Arena of Valor might just be the best multiplayer game on mobile.

Arena of Velor is the best Multiplayer Online Battle Areanas (MOBAs) feature two opposing teams who  work together to destroy their opponents’ base structure. Standing in the way of accomplishing this task are protective structures, known as towers, AI-controller monsters strewn throughout the map (known as “creeps”), and—of course, the enemy team of heroes.

The goal is to outplay your opponents by scoring key kills and farming creeps quickly to gain and press advantages over the enemy team.

Best part about the game

The game is very well-optimized and runs smoothly, and perks and bonuses from the publisher meant that after a few weeks of playing, I had already collected 16 out of 40 heroes. Pretty good progress, . So just by playing the game at a normal pace, you could easily unlock most of the characters you desire.

Is Arena of Valor Worth Playing?

All its features and game modes would just be lipstick on a pig if the game was boring and grindy, but Arena of Valor is really a game that you can get into and enjoy every day – and it stands out as being one of the few well-made MOBA games for mobile devices

Its mix of a diverse range of heroes, a level playing field for all players, different games modes, and depth of the gameplay itself makes it a great game to grab and try out if you’re looking for a MOBA experience on mobile.

What’s New-

-New tournament mode

-New DC hero joker has arrived in AOV

-Provides new feature to invite friends and get more free rewards.

-Works excellent and smooth with good network connection.

Requirements and specs of AOV

  • The download size of this game is 95Mb
  • Requires Android 4.0.3+
  • In-app purchase upto 10,000-6,200.00INR per item

If it’s good enough for over 80 million people every day, you would have to say, there’s something special in Arena of Valor. I bet that if you would check the game out. For the specific MOBA gamer, Arena of Valor is probably the best MOBA game in the Play Store today

Ericsson launches customized network solutions for the Indian market

  • Ericsson has launched a number of new solutions to enable Indian operators to evolve from 4G to 5G
  • Ericsson has introduced a new category of radio products called Street Macro – a new site type that addresses the need of operators to grow in cities with limited available radio locations
  • Ericsson is focused on 5G business cases as well as the key technological enablers – from radio access to network slicing and machine intelligence – that will make 5G a commercial success

Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) is bringing the best of technology innovations to the Indian market to enable a smooth evolution from 4G to 5G. The company has introduced a new category of radio products called Street Macro; a new site type that addresses the need of operators to grow in cities with limited available radio locations. The company has also launched new radio products that support Massive MIMO technology. These products enable a smooth evolution from 4G to 5G and address the need for increased capacity, while simplifying use for wider adoption.

All installed base of radios from the Ericsson Radio System delivered since 2015 will be 5G NR-capable by a remote software installation. Ericsson recently completed its 5G platform with the launch of 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) commercial software, based on the recently approved first 3GPP 5G New Radio (NR) standard. The 5G radio network software complements Ericsson’s already launched baseband and 5G radios. Operators can simply activate their 5G networks and take the first steps with commercial 5G capabilities and new applications leveraging advanced mobile broadband services.

This will cater efficiently for growing data traffic and enable access to multimedia content, such as 4K/8K video streaming and virtual reality/augmented reality. According to Ericsson’s new economic study of enhanced mobile broadband, evolution to 5G will enable 10 times lower cost per gigabyte than current 4G networks. To help operators capture growth opportunities presented by new 5G use cases, Ericsson has expanded its 5G Core System offering with new capabilities to support 5G NR and also enhanced its Distributed Cloud solution.

Nitin Bansal, Managing Director, Ericsson India said, “Operators today are looking at ways and means to increase network capacity especially in urban areas. It is here that Ericsson’s Street Macro adds a new layer in the network layer to boost capacity enabling service providers to cater to the growing demands of data users. Our studies in fact indicate that Enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) will be the first large-scale global 5G use case, driven by a need for more efficient networks and better user experience.”

The announcement came on the sidelines of Ericsson’s annual technology roadshow in India, where the company recreated a “Do Zone” to showcase the highlights from Mobile World Congress 2018. Over 20 state of the art proof points were displayed at the ‘Do Zone’ to give a glimpse of the future that will be enabled by 5G.
